Jane grew up in Rocky Mount, NC and vacationed at Atlantic Beach during that time.  After marrying, she moved to Kinston, NC where she lived until her retirement in l999.  At that time she and her husband moved full time to their vacation home in the Merrimon community. 

     Jane has been crafting stained glass using the copper foil method (Tiffany style) for nine years.  She also enjoys making stepping stones.  Her subjects include lighthouses, marine birds, and flowers.  She especially enjoys the colors of stained glass and the excitement of coordinating colors for her projects.

     She enjoys kayaking, participation in a book club, and a wine club. She also enjoys meeting people and showing her crafts during festivals and fundraisers.  Her work can be seen at the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum Gift Shop and on most Saturdays at The Friendly Market in Morehead City.
